The Star and Garter Hotel Linlithgow, is within walking distance of Mary Queen of Scots Birthplace, Linlithgow Palace, located at the eastern end of the Royal Burgh, just seventeen miles from Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland.

Built in about 1759, the Star and Garter is a large imposing Georgian style building, steeped in history, dating back to the mid eighteenth century.

The Hotel is family-owned with 15 recently refurbished well appointed en-suite bedrooms.

This historic hotel has a very comfortable 60-seater restaurant, which was also recently refurbished, and boasts an exciting menu to suit all tastes combining the best of traditional and contemporary Scottish fayre.
